Purpose

Evaluate and explain how leaders use the essential attributes to improve organizational performance.

 

Review

Your Task

In this module, we have explored leadership attributes associated with organizational success. You will discuss three leadership attributes you currently use in the workplace and explain why you use them and how those around you (both subordinates and managers) react to them.

 

Initial Discussion Post

Your response should examine the rationale for using these leadership attributes and the reaction of those around you. Which techniques might you utilize in your career? Please elaborate.

  • Describe three leadership attributes associated with the leadership style that you utilize in the workplace.
  • Justify the reasoning for utilizing these leadership attributes.
  • Analyze how others in the workplace react to your leadership attributes.

Your initial post should be at least 250 words. Your initial response is due by Thursday at 11:59 PM ET.

Response to Classmates

Respond to at least two of your colleagues’ posts. Your response should provide your thoughts on your classmates’ responses and provide examples of your experiences. Examine others’ rationale for use of the chosen leadership attributes and consider what attributes you might utilize in your career. Responses should be respectful, contain at least 100 words, including references, and ask questions to promote further conversation on the topic.
