Purpose

This segment provides an opportunity for you to hear from leaders on topics covered in this module; this will provide you with a deeper understanding of the leadership skills you are learning and allow you to consider how these principles are applied in real-world organizations. 

 

Review

Watch the following TEDTalk from Nelson Phillips as he discusses the difference between digital leadership and digital transformation in companies and why it’s important to consider societal impacts, human interactions, and the nature of leadership in an organization.

Your Task

Consider the leadership perspective you just watched and provide your thoughts on this perspective by creating a 1- to 3-minute video. Think about the following questions when responding:

• Do you agree with the leadership perspective provided? Why or why not?
• Have you experienced a similar situation? Elaborate on your story.
• Did this help you understand this week’s concepts?
