1. Defining Synthesis
Based on this week’s readings, write a brief summary to define how you will synthesize the literature. Discuss the strategies and techniques that you will use to ensure that your literature review will appropriately reflect the synthesis required throughout the Concept Review (Chapter 2).

2. Generally, historical content is defined as over 5 years old. Sources often include books and journals. The Historical Content section of the Concept Review (Chapter 2) should include subsections for each of the various topics related to your study.
For this part of the assignment, create a reference list of at least 10 sources that you will use to develop the Historical Content section of your Concept Review (Chapter 2).

3. Current content, also referred to as contemporary content, is generally defined as no more than 5 years old. Therefore, sources are usually journal articles. The Current Content section of the Concept Review (Chapter 2) should include subsections for each of the various topics related to your study.
For this part of the assignment, create a reference list of at least 10 sources that you will use to develop the Current Content section of your Concept Review (Chapter 2)

4. The framework that you included in your Chapter 1, either a Theoretical or Conceptual Framework, should have introduced readers to the relevant theories. In the Concept Review (Chapter 2), this section must be greatly expanded and should include subsections for each of the relevant theories or concepts, and discuss supporting germinal and current literature on those theories.
For this part of the assignment, create a reference list of at least five sources that you will use to expand your Chapter 1 framework for your Concept Review (Chapter 2).

5. As you develop the Theoretical or Conceptual Framework Literature section of the Concept Review (Chapter 2), begin with the broadest theoretical foundation followed by narrower theories. Within the subsections for each theory, discuss the theory development in chronological order beginning with the germinal theorists and continuing with the theory development and current theorist perspectives. Again, the discussion must be synthesized.

6. The Methodology Literature section should describe the various studies that have been accomplished within your topic area, and should focus on the methodologies that have been used in research and on the findings of those studies. The Research Design Literature section should define your selected design based on both germinal and contemporary methodologists.
For this part of the assignment, create a reference list of at least six sources that you will use for these two sections.

7. As you have been developing these sections above step by step, you should now have a complete draft of your Concept Review (Chapter 2).

Submit the above steps one by one and then step 7 as a whole and completed part.
